Wayne is the Founding Principal, Managing Director and Chief Security Officer of the Australian Defence Consultancy Group, a private company formed in 2009. A scientific project management background gives Wayne the ability to analyse, plan and execute complex tasks from the field to the boardroom. Recently retired after serving 47 years in the Australian Army, Wayne’s military expertise is in the area of armoured operations, defence facility security and Honours and Awards.
Wayne’s focus now is on the leadership of a great team of Defence and Commercial experts, strategic management, modernisation, and development of a thriving company where customer service remains paramount.

Andy is the Director Corporate and Financial Services at ADCG. He has over 30 years of Miliary Logistics expertise in ADF Operational, Project Management, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment domains in both a uniformed and contractor capacity. He has been awarded a Master of Management Studies in Defence Capacity Development and Acquisition from UNSW.
Matched with a parallel focus for business and a strange passion finance and accounting, Andy’s array of experience is central to the continued formal expansion and development of ADCG. Andy is currently completing enrolment in the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course.
Andy also runs a small paddock to plate Lamb enterprise in his “spare” time.

Gemma joined the team at ADCG in May 2020. With over 15 years’ experience in the various industries she brings skills in marketing and graphic design, event organisation and management, client account management, industry research and insights, business development and social media management. Gemma has studied a bachelor of Science (UNSW) and is now undertaking a Diploma of Human Resources Management.
As Business Support Specialist, Gemma is responsible for accounts payable and receivable within ADCG, as well as internal team support with website development and ADCG software development and support and functions within HR.

Kirsty has recently joined ADCG after previously working for QLD Ambulance as Emergency Medical Dispatcher. Prior to this, she worked as an Executive Assistant in Real Estate, 13 years in Aviation in cabin, training and standards and compliance, and 7 years in the Banking industry. Kirsty bring a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to her role as Manager Account Service. In addition to her experience, Kirsty also holds a Diploma in Paramedicine. In her spare time, she has enjoyed volunteering with SLSQ and currently volunteers with St John Ambulance.
Kirsty’s role as Manager Account Services is to control the provision of ADCG and its clients. She is here to support clients with all accounting needs and manages the day-to-day account requirements to ADCG. Kirsty is SOP focused, has high attention to detail skills and thrives in ever changing environments.
Hobbies: Diving and Hiking
Connor has joined the ADCG team as an Account Manager (JAM) to aid with the day-to-day administration for our large corporate clients. This includes account receivable and payable, reporting, general account administration and maintaining strong working relationships.
Connor is currently studying a degree in Agricultural Business Management at Charles Sturt University.

Robyn has joined ADCG after an extended career in Hospitality where she gained several certificates throughout her time in the industry. She has operated various hospitality venues throughout Adelaide where she become well versed in business skills including management, business to business sales, administration, and customer service.
Robyn has joined the ADCG team as an Account Manager (JAM) where her main duty at present is as the Overseas Travel Officer. She is responsible for briefing ADCG’s sponsored Security Clearance Holders prior to travel as well as performing a travel debrief upon return.
Secret Skill: I can mow a pretty good lawn!
Matt leads ADCGs Security Clearances Capability and brings a wealth of risk, compliance and stakeholder management experience to the team.
Commencing in Australian Money Markets in 1985, Matt has written, spoken and dealt in domestic and international futures and equity markets on behalf of retail, Institutional and corporate clients.
Matt has a keen sense for building synergistic relationships that leverage into niche growth areas. As founding member of the team, he’s been a driving force behind the development of our processes and procedures and with true passion and commitment, he’s personally guided hundreds of applicants through to the successful granting of their Security Clearance.

Martin joins ADCG with a wealth of Sales experience across an array of industries. He worked for many years with the Endeavour Drinks Group where he consulted on multiple wine marketing campaigns throughout Australia. Prior to that, Martin worked for many years in the Hotel Industry as a Senior Sales Consultant with the Accor Vacation Club. Martin has also be worked as a teacher, TV presenter, designer, actor and voice artist.
Martin’s role within ADCG is to support the Director Security Clearances in the day-to-day operations of the Security Clearance branch of our business.
His love of fitness sees him at the gym most days and surfing when possible, on Sydney’s Northern beaches.

Kieran joined the ADCG team in 2020 as Security Clearances Advisor. Prior to commencing with ADCG he was in a logistics manager in the transport industry for 22 years. This involved looking after subcontractors and assisting in them in their day to day activities. Previous to this Kieran was a funeral director for eight years working with people at a very sensitive time. He valued being able to help people through stressful or emotional times.
Kieran’s role with ADCG as Security Clearances Advisor is to help clients with the process of obtaining a clearance as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
Dream Car: Any classic old car
Natasha began working for ADCG in July of 2021. She brings a wealth of business management, administrative and customer service knowledge. This experience involved working within varied sectors including travel, medical and agricultural/manufacturing fields for over 20 years. She prides herself on her ability to build productive relationships and resolve complex issues. Natasha holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management and has the drive for personal growth with a second degree underway.
Her role within ADCG as a Security Clearances Advisor involves working in collaboration with clients to support and streamline their security clearance application process.

Renée is a welcomed part of the ADCG Security Clearances team. She has previously worked for QLD Shared Services in payroll and HR and after many years working for the Gold Coast City Council as a procurement officer, Renée has enjoyed the past several years at home raising her young family. She prides herself on providing excellent customer service and enjoys working as part of a team.
As a security clearance advisor within ADCG, Renee is responsible supporting our clients through the process of applying for their Australian Government security clearances.

Ciaran brings with him 20+ years of experience across Defence and Defence Industry. Having worked for the Australian Army, RAAF and CASG he is armed with a strong understanding of what is required to successfully consult to Defence, Government and Defence Industry.
Ciaran holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and he specialises in government, business process development and personnel management. Finding the right people, for the right roles, at the right time, is something he is passionate about.

Kathleen joined the ADCG team in February 2022. She has worked in Real Estate doing administrative roles, Sales Support and Property Management. Kathleen returned to study and gained a Diploma in Remedial Massage which lead to running a successful Massage Therapy business.
As a Business Development Manager in ADCG, Kat is responsible for developing and implementing growth opportunities whilst generating business with new alliances and managing client relations.
Kathleen is very much a people person; values making connections and finds great reward in assisting people.
Secret Skill: Karate
David has extensive experience in various fields and uses this to help clients gain new positions and achieve new work experiences. He has worked in real estate, Air Traffic Control, Search and Rescue, security, instructing, risk, crisis and emergency management and human resources within Defence and civilian organisations.
He has had a career in the Army Reserve for over 40 years, having been the Commanding Officer of the Melbourne Infantry Battalion, worked in Army HQ and Joint Operations Command, and has served in Domestic Operations.
He assists ADCG clients in obtaining security clearances; helping them find new employment; and assists with other aspects within ADCG.
Enjoys: Travel and meeting new people
Greg brings to ADCG over 30 years of sales, management and teaching experience from the computing industry and parallel experience in the Army Reserve, particularly in the areas of facility security and personnel planning. His particular skills lie in strategic planning and resource management.
Greg’s role at ADCG is as a Business Development Officer and Security Officer. He is responsible for business growth into new markets as well as supporting the security clearance team while they help clients through the clearance process.
Favourite Sport: Baseball
Rachel joins ADCG from a diverse customer service background. She is a University of Sydney graduate with a prior qualification in Communications (PR), and has recently completed a Project Management course. She has a professional background in the Government, Media and Healthcare industries, but is learning all about Defence from a wealth of experience in her ADCG colleagues and their networks.
Rachel is the Security Clearances and Consultancy Advisor for ADCG. She manages the consultancy branch of the business, helping to match consultants with contracting opportunities. She also provides to our DISP team and clients. Rachel’s strengths lie in helping to keep things organised, building relationships and improving systems.
Hobbie: Gardening
Dave has joined ADCG after retiring from a Royal Australian Navy career spanning over three decades. Now employed as Deputy Director Strategic Consulting, Dave brings deep Joint Operational level military experience over to supports the development of the Strategic Consulting Group and Nuclear Consulting Group. His background includes support for the Christchurch earthquake and Fukushima tsunami.
As an experienced planner he enjoys considering complex problems. Dave is an experienced facilitator and team leader. With extensive international engagement experience, he can develop nuanced relationships across cultural boundaries, but enjoys direct communication.
Passion: Dave is a keen fly-fisherman who recently caught his first Brook Trout in Australia.
